I wanted the locks on our patio doors upgraded to Ultion and decided to go with City Lock & Safe after reading their reviews and seeing that the business has been going for more than 60 years! George responded immediately to my initial email enquiry and arranged an appointment for the next day with Andy. Andy was on time, polite and efficient and the new locks he has fitted have given me much greater peace of mind. Andy also noticed and corrected an issue with the handles on the doors which had been incorrectly fitted in the past. A very professional experience at every point - wouldn’t hesitate to use this firm again..

Broken key in lock, Scott came to fix it, by the time he left he had sorted out conservatory door that did not shut properly and put new locks on the front and rear doors. I wanted some original 1930s internal brass locks refurbishing including the old keys. City Lock and Safe came highly recommended through word of mouth and after looking at the reviews I popped into their office on Buxton Road. Extremely helpful staff and I George emailed me confirmation of my request and cost. Shortly afterwards, Scott came and removed all 4 locks. Whilst they were being refurbished I was sent updates on the work and a couple of weeks later Scott and Andy came back to fit them. All locks have been refurbished to a high standard and I now have sturdy handles with keys - and they look fantastic. Throughout the whole process they have been professional, polite, paid attention to detail and there very high standard of work was value for money. I couldn't recommend them highly enough and will be using them again..

Had a problem with the front door multi lock system, called to shop they arranged a visit straight away, Andy the engineer was very good resolved the issue very quickly. The price for the work was clear and upfront, 5*from start to finish, thank you.
