Having bought several locks from this firm over 20 years ago I called in today as I was having problems with one of the locks.I was delighted that not only could they offer me a replacement lock ,but also if I wanted would fully repair and recondition the old lock to be as good as new.Many thanks to James & Jake for all their help what a fantastic service from a special firm..

After an attempted break in on the property, I called in at City Lock & Safe at 10.00am the next morning to enquire about having some new secure locks fitted. The staff were incredibly helpful and within 2 hrs had come and fitted new locks. We also purchased extra keys which were promptly delivered a short time later. Scott was professional and helpful at our property and I would recommend these should you ever need new locks fitting in the future.Chris.

James attended the property quickly and efficiently identified the jammed lock issue we had. He was able to secure the house overnight whilst returning the following day to replace faulty lock. Service was excellent and James was very friendly and kept me informed throughout. Very satisfied with outcome and service. Highly recommended..

I wanted some original 1930s internal brass locks refurbishing including the old keys. City Lock and Safe came highly recommended through word of mouth and after looking at the reviews I popped into their office on Buxton Road. Extremely helpful staff and I George emailed me confirmation of my request and cost. Shortly afterwards, Scott came and removed all 4 locks. Whilst they were being refurbished I was sent updates on the work and a couple of weeks later Scott and Andy came back to fit them. All locks have been refurbished to a high standard and I now have sturdy handles with keys - and they look fantastic. Throughout the whole process they have been professional, polite, paid attention to detail and there very high standard of work was value for money. I couldn't recommend them highly enough and will be using them again..

Great service from James today. He rang ahead to let me know he was on his way, arrived on time and was friendly and polite. He re-aligned and serviced our UPVC door which now opens and closes smoothly again like new. He also made some tweaks to our bifold doors to allow them to close tightly. He gave me some advice on door locks and security. I have already recommended City Lock & Safe to other neighbours and will definitely use them again..

Spoke to James on behalf of my mum who is hard of hearing, James was really understanding and went round to change her locks on a Sunday within an hour. Really pleased with his work and he called me to make sure everything was ok after. Speedy and really good communication..
